King playing on the beach. Virginia Beach, VA.

King was the athlete of the family. He was happiest swimming, hiking, playing ball, or doing whatever, as long as he could be with you and run at warp speed!  King  was very much Jason's dog and could be found most any day napping under his desk while he was working.

King practicing some obedience retrieving! Virginia Beach, VA.

King was a very high energy dog with tons of drive which  made training a challenge! He was however, extremely bright and more times than not could figure out "his own way" to do it which is obviously more fun than the way you are trying to teach.

King was also very loving and had a very laid back disposition. He earned his CGC and was working towards his TDI. Once licensed he would have attended local assisted living programs as an active Therapy Dog.

King is pictured again below with his best friend and partner in crime, Hayden (U-Gr. Ch. Wildfire FlashFrozen Sharjet).

     Dilated Cardiomyopathy

HOLTER YOUR DOGS.

King was tragically lost to cardiomyopathy on March 17. We miss him terribly and wish this pain on no one else. Please holter/echo your dogs. Please donate to research so that hopefully we can find a DNA marker for this horrible disease.

King will always live on in our hearts and memories. We love you sweet boy.....see you at the bridge.
